Stopped by Friday on the way home from the Gulf. Special was open faced roast beef sandwich with gravy, which was tender and extra yummy, Jessica had the hamburger steak and gravy and Zachary ordered a hamburger. Both agreed that their meals were great. The waitress was friendly and attentive, even though she was busy, the tea was perfect and our go cups were filled to the brim as we left. Buster’s is just a few miles off I-65 and is worth the few minutes it takes to get there.

Overall, I enjoyed my experience at Buster's. The food and service has both been good. It is a seat yourself restaurant as most are in Atmore, with a country food menu. There are daily lunch specials with 2-3 offers each day. The servers actually pay attention to you here as well, so that's appreciated. Although I haven't personally tried the pies, I have heard they are award winning if you are a desert person.One small gripe is that the side salad is a bit on the expensive side (relative to other restaurants) considering I can get a full salad bar with a meal at Sonny's or Ruby Tuesday for about the same price or even cheaper. But it was a good basic salad either way.

Well typical atmore food,nothing healthy. It's good if you like a lot of the starchy stuff.

Service was fine, didn’t get any refills until we were asking for the check. Our food came out, we had microwaves fries, or ones from the day prior. You pick...they were horrible, stale and cold. Me and my husband both got hamburger steak...the gravy was also, cold. The dish itself tasted like water. Wouldn’t go back, and definitely wouldn’t recommend.

Food was good. Not as clean as I like. Waitress had an attitude when I asked for our table to be wiped down since it was covered in salt and other food debris.

Services was slow we waited forever for waitress to come back to take our order and if your not getting the daily special be prepared to wait. I ordered the special which was 1 pork chop and a bowl of lima beans( I tasted them all afternoon) with one piece of cornbread for $6.95. The cornbread was dry had to flag her down to get butter (which was margarine) by the time I got it my cornbread was cold. I wouldn't have used it anyway I believe it said 60% vegetable oil. My husband ordered the hamburger steak it was real good but they did not offer him the side he was supposed to get. Will not go back nor will i advise anyone to go there. Very disappointed.

Very disappointed in the chef salad. Paid for extras didn't even get enough for regular price. No taste😥 I was so excited had heard so many good things. I'll try a burger next time and stick to subway salads!
